Products and Ordering

1) Are your products authentic?

We are the authorised distributor for Mother Garden products in Singapore. All our products come with a hologram sticker and a unique serial number as proof of authenticity. Beware of imitation goods sold on popular shopping sites. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

2) Why is the painting/texture of my wooden toy uneven?

All Mother Garden wooden toy products are painstakingly hand-crafted, assembled, and painted with child-friendly non-toxic paints. Naturally, some slight unevenness and roughness can be expected. It is what makes each wooden toy piece unique.

3) Can I pre-order items if they are out of stock?

Yes you can. When items go out of stock, we will make it easier for you to pre-order items by creating new products that are labelled “(insert out of stock product name) – Preorder”. These products can be purchased on a preorder basis and you may take advantage of any existing limited time discounts to purchase those products.

Do note that shipping may take up to 2 months from the time of your order.

4) What are the payment options available?

Credit card

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover credit cards via Paypal. When making payment, you will be redirected to a secure Paypal platform so that you may shop with peace of mind.

Bank Transfer

You may also pay via bank transfer. Simply send payment to the following account:

Once you have made payment, please email the following to customerservice@thehappytoystore.com:

i) Date and time of transfer

ii) Transaction reference number

iii) Your iBank alias

Do note that if we do not receive payment within 7 days, your order will be considered void. 

Delivery

5) What are the delivery options available?

Self-collection

Self-collection is FREE and by appointment only. Please email us your preferred date and time of collection once you have selected the self-collection option at checkout. The pick-up location is in Jurong West.

Local mail and courier service  

Our delivery charges are as follows (all amounts in SGD):

$0.60 for total purchase up to $9.99

$1.50 for total purchase up to $24.99

$3.00 for total purchase up to $44.99

$4.50 for total purchase up to $69.99

$6.50 for total purchase up to $99.99

$10.00 for any purchase above $99.99

Add an additional $2.24 for REGISTERED MAIL.

Small items will be delivered via local mail. Please note that while every effort is made to ensure the safe delivery of your purchase to you, we are not responsible for any damages or lost packages incurred via normal mail delivery. We encourage you to opt for REGISTERED MAIL if you wish to track the status of your purchased items.

Large items will be delivered via courier services such as Ta-Q-Bin or our in-house delivery service. 

6) What is the estimated delivery time?

Orders will be processed upon receipt of payment. From the date of payment, delivery time is estimated to be within 5 working days.

7) Do you ship to overseas locations?

Yes we do! If you wish to ship to a location outside of Singapore, please email customerservice@thehappytoystore.com with the following details:

i) Items you wish to purchase

ii) Your shipping address

iii) Your preferred shipping option

There are two shipping options available - air mail and surface mail. Air mail takes between 3 and 12 working days and surface mail takes between 3 and 17 weeks. Charges can be found at the following link: http://www.singpost.com/send-documentparcel/postage-rates.html

 

Returns Policy

8) What is the policy for refunds and exchanges?

Please note that all products are non-refundable.

If an item is found to be defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us to arrange for an exchange within 48 hours.

For all exchanges please email customerservice@thehappytoystore.com with the following details:

i) Date and proof of purchase

ii) Reason for exchange and photographic proof of defect/damage

If the exchange is approved, we will provide you with a return address. Returned items must be in unused and in their original condition and packaging.

Please note that you will be responsible for all delivery charges incurred during the exchange process. Delivery charges incurred will not be reimbursed.

If your item is out of stock, we reserve the right to credit you with the equivalent amount of store credit.
